How to create agents and their commissions?

The system allows you to create agents to book tickets. Agent creation, their commission details, and their seat allocation are managed by the administration.

AGENT CREATION

Agent creation is as follows:

Step 1: Click on Agents under the Agent Management tab on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 2: Click the Create Agent button.

Step 3: Enter all the required data for the agent login—all fields are compulsory.

Name: Agent’s trading name

Email: The agent’s email address

Phone: Agent’s phone number

City: The city in which the agent resides.

Payment Type: Charge to account should be the default.This is the policy of MMBL.

Company Name: The agent’s company name.

Step 4: Assign the agent a username and password.

AGENT COMMISSIONS

Agents are only able to book on their allocated route with a reserved number of seats. For each ticket sold, booking agents receive a fixed percentage or dollar amount of the total price.

Admin allocates agents' commission and their seats.

Allocations of agent routes are as follows:

Step 1: Click on Agent Commissions under the Agent Management tab on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 2: Click on "Add New Agent" and enter all the required data.

Agent: Select the agent from the drop-down menu for allocation of packages and commission.

Route: Choose a route from the list.

Package: Distribute packages

The commission type is either a percentage or a fixed value.

Specify the number of seats an agent can book.

Step 3: Click on the Save button.

 The number of seats allocated to the agent decreases based on the bookings made by the agent on the agent commission details index.
